Around 7% of the population of Singapore identify themselves as vegetarian & even Singapore is the second most vegan friendly country in Asia, but there was no reassurance/authenticity available. So, with this Certification, I believe all the people of vegetarian/vegan community, will gain a confidence while maintaining their eating & lifestyle habits. Certified vegan and vegetarian products sell more because trust makes the sales. "Brands can essentially say anything they want as part of their marketing strategy, but when a product is verified as 100% vegan or vegetarian by an independent authority, it gains trust."

Mr. Hari Raghvan


Hari as he is known, is an accountant with over 35 years of experience, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in India, in 1988 and later acquired several other accounting designations.
He has worked as Head of Finance and as CEO for organizations in the beverages, garments, fishing, electronics, consumer goods, vegetable oil and heavy machinery, industries, in many countries such as India, Nigeria, Tanzania and Canada.
He has evolved into an entrepreneur and investor based in Toronto, and also supports various Charities. An amateur cook and chess player, also likes to coach young entrepreneurs and professionals.

Mr. Amit Ramasar

South Africa

Mr. Amit Devnarain Ramasar, a Management Consultant; Clothing Manufacturer; Supermarkets & Accountant by Profession. He is the executive member of “South African Hindu Dharma Sabha” & “World Hindu Foundation South Africa”. In addition to the above, serving as an accountant in a private practice & he is also the chairman of “Hindu Enterprise Development Corporation (Pty) Ltd. Born on 5th November, 1948.


Currently the Director of “Sattvik Certification SA (Pty) Ltd”.
